'Who Let The Dogs In?': YoungDogs make their Cannes Lions Festival comeback

26-05-2026 (09:16) - Cannes

After a year of festival absence, YoungDogs announces its return to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. With the theme "Who Let The Dogs In?" Jongehonden gives a nod to last year, when they didn’t set foot inside the festival grounds.

With teams participating in the Young Lions Competition, the co-hosting of the Young meets Old party together with Artbox and of course the always legendary YoungDogs party, the group of creative talent will be seen a lot in the South of France this summer.

After a challenging year that needed a statement, YoungDogs was back on the radar of brands and agencies in The Netherlands and regionally in Cannes. Big brands like Heinz, KPN, GreenPeace, Red Bull, Rabobank and EasyToys decided to partner up with YoungDogs, and after talks with the Lions organisation the board decided to buy tickets again for the festival.

The party

YoungDogs is hosting their legendary party on La Croissette, the 23rd of June, so make sure you keep your Tuesday night free! Follow them online to get your tickets as soon as possible. The event is free for people under 30 (old dogs have the money).

The dogs are busy

YoungDogs continues its commitment to developing young talent throughout the year. Even though Cannes prep is going all the way, the board is busy running pitches and giving opportunities for a few more puppies to join them in Cannes. Last week with a fun Rabobank activation pitch, Twan Wiertz and Anna Breinfalk were the latest duo to get their tickets to the festival. This week EasyToys pitch kicks-off, so if you still wanna participate and get your last chance to go to the festival - find the brief on their website!
